Immigrant experience

Migrating to another country is a courages decision that one has to make. It’s even harder for those who migrate to another country with different language than his/her own.

In the blog wetcoastwomen.com author recalls her immigrant root by saying…..
“The other arrives with great hope and expectations for a better life, or at least a different life. New challenges have to be met, involving jobs, housing, cultural differences, religious differences, language difficulties, maybe even racial differences. To be met with hope and excitement.” it continues here.

It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.~Alan Cohen

    Hi Cherran,
Thank you for the link. Nobody reads my blog and I was rather proud of this post, so put it on Wet Coast Women. I have left a long comment to you on the post over at WCW site.
I know that my experience was not at all difficult, because I did not have the language difficulties. But many of my friends did, so I do empathize with others who do.
I will read some more from your blog. But may I say here, belatedly, welcome to Canada. I hope people are extending the hand of friendship to you and you are overcoming your language difficulties or any other difficulties you may have. Hopefully you will feel at home soon.
    Best wishes to you
