I just learned from this post that “143″ is now a new hit with youngsters to say ” I love you”. I never heard anyone saying 143 to someone. I think it’s used in text messages on cellphones. Any thoughts?

Yes that’s what it means. Its from the mid 90s though when chat rooms and I’m were really popular. There is another meaning for it also that explains each number but essentially meaning the same thing.

1=I (which has one character)
4=Love (which has four characters)
3=You (which has three characters)
